Alexander Funeral Home

Alexander Funeral Home has been a locally owned and operated funeral home serving Breckinridge and Meade Counties as well as the surrounding areas since 1952. The funeral home was originally established by J.L. Alexander and was housed in a smaller building on Hwy 60 in Irvington. In 1970, Mr. Alexander selected the present sight of the funeral home and built the current funeral home building and residence.

Mr. J. L. Alexander ran the Funeral Home until 1979 when he passed away. At that time his brother Luther L. "Sonny" Alexander took over the business and continued to run the funeral home until he retired in November of 2007.

In November of 2007, Ryan P. Conley and John M. Bruington purchased the funeral home. John and his staff continue to run the funeral home with the same integrity and home town values that the Alexander Brothers brought to our community so many years ago.
